Bethesda MD real estate activity increases but home sales start drop off from recent years.
The January Krell List-to-Sold Ratio of 0.52 is less than the 0.8 ratio of last Jan 2012. The average home sale price of Bethesda MD homes that sold during January 2013 decreased 10% compared to last Jan, and decreased 6% and 5% compared to Jan 2011 and 2010.
There was a 30% increase in homes listed over last January, but a 21% decrease from Jan 2010. While there was a 31% increase in homes under contract over last Jan, as well as a 21% and 4% increase over Jan of 2011 and 2010.
There was 5% decrease in the number of settlements in Bethesda MD over last Jan, as well as a 3% and 13% decrease of home sales compared to Jan 2011 and 2010.
